Stroller Strides classes are a total fitness program that moms can do with their babies. It includes power walking and intervals of strength and body toning exercises using equipment, the stroller and the spacious Prospect Park. Our instructors are certified and specially trained fitness instructors. Our classes include songs and games interwoven in the exercises to keep the class fun for our babies and together we create Our Village, a safe and fun place for moms and their babies.
Stroller Barre classes incorporate movements from pilates, ballet and barre methods to provide a unique and effective workout for the pre and postnatal mom. Stroller Barre uses tubing, the stroller and the environment to provide an all over toning and fat burning experience. Modifications can be offered for carrier-wearing mamas too.
Run Club meets on Saturdays at 8:15 am and Wednesdays at 7:30 pm at the 9th Street entrance to Prospect Park, all winter long. Some of us run fast, some of us run slow and our fantastic coach and supportive group will help you run faster, smarter and stronger while having fun along the way. Run Club is for mamas that are new to running, coming back to running, or have been running for years. We have training plans, routes and challenges for every level of runner. It's never too late to become a runner!

Our Village events are community-wide playgroups, after-class crafts and storytimes, Mama Nights Out, and weekend or weekday group outings. Most playgroup activities are free, or have a minimal fee, and are open to any moms and little ones within our community (out of town visitors are welcome too!). Invite your friends and join us in or surrounding Prospect Park for some mommy & me (and sometimes mommy-free) time with other Brooklyn mamas.
